About Me

Welcome to Teach While Thriving

I’ve spent the last ten years in education — and I’ve genuinely loved it. What’s funny is that teaching was never part of my original plan. Even though every personality test pointed me toward education, I brushed it off without a second thought.

Everything changed on my daughter’s first day of Kindergarten. She walked confidently down the hallway in a neat little line, while I stood there wiping away crocodile tears… and unexpectedly falling in love with the school environment. That moment opened a door I never expected to walk through — and it led me straight into the world of education. The rest, as they say, is history.

But here’s the truth: education asks so much of us — emotionally, mentally, financially — and the pay rarely reflects the countless roles teachers take on. With mortgages, tuition, elder care, student loans, and everyday expenses, earning extra isn’t a luxury anymore. It’s a necessity. And it’s frustrating to watch dedicated educators stretch themselves thin with second jobs just to stay afloat. Teaching should be valued enough that no one has to sacrifice their evenings, weekends, or well‑being just to survive.

That’s why I first created Smart Hustles — and why it eventually evolved into Teach While Thriving. Because teachers deserve more than survival mode. They deserve financial stability, personal well‑being, and classrooms that feel steady and supported.

Teach While Thriving brings all of that together: practical earning options that fit real teacher life, well‑being that protects your energy, and classroom routines that create calm and clarity.

It’s a whole‑teacher approach to building a life that feels sustainable, grounded, and genuinely yours. I’m so glad you’re here. Let’s thrive together.
